Monster Island is the name of The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster. It was released at the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is the story of an island also known under the name Monster Island. A monster can be found on the island and is also the Monster Island.


The film is about an asylum and has a budget of roughly the same as a large child's dinner. It uses its limited resources to focus (just updated) on the human characters. Also, the film keeps the top actors in one place so that all scenes can be shot during a single lunchtime break. However, lest we forget that this is a kaiju film, and well... that is sort of how they go, so maybe The Asylum won't do such an awful job with it?
